Daytime date outfit tips
I find dressing for evening dates fairly easy, but when it comes to daytime dates I’m pretty clueless! Do I go for something flattering, but uncomfortable? Or do I opt form something more comfy and risk not looking my best?
Through a bit (a lot) of trial and error I’ve come up with a fool-proof outfit that I’m going to rely on for any future daytime dates.
It’s something super comfortable and casual that I still find is flattering on my body shape. Let me know what you think in the comments below!
It’s bleedin’ freezing right now, so I really can’t leave the house without throwing a coat over my outfit. This beauty from Primark only cost me £23 and was a complete steal because it’s so comfy to wear.
I also love the texture of the coat, and find it adds a bit of dimension to a block colour outfit like this one.
I haven’t worn these hoops in ages, but I think they go perfectly with this outfit. Now that I’ve re-discovered them I’m going to make more of an effort to wear them.
I wear these two rings pretty much every day, so now it feels like second nature to wear them.
I kept my makeup really simple for this outfit, and if you want to know what I used you can read all about it in my daytime date makeup guide.
The top, jeans and boots
This outfit is basically my daytime uniform, it’s just so perfectly casual!
The top is from River Island, and I wear it so much I’m really tempted to pick up a couple more in different colours.
I was given these boots as an early Christmas present and they go with practically everything in my wardrobe, so I also end up wearing these pretty much everyday.
