Re-discovering Topshop Beauty (and falling in love all over again)

new topshop beauty collection

Topshop Beauty

I remember when Topshop first launched beauty products, it felt like everyone went into meltdown a bit and there were endless posts raving about the lipsticks and nail polishes. I bought a couple of pieces, enjoyed using them but didn’t fall head over heels for them and after a while just kind of forgot about it all (I know, what kind of beauty blogger am I?!).

I have to admit, I do have a browse of the beauty products every time I am in Topshop, but it’s been a while since something really jumped out at me and compelled me to rush to the till with it. Until now…I have to admit when I saw the latest limited edition collection for Topshop Beauty I did a little gasp, because it’s right up my street and so affordable! So when I next found myself browsing Topshop Oxford Street, I had to make a couple of cheeky purchases, and I’m so glad I did because I love all of the products!

The Pencil Case – £15

This is such a clever product, because in the box you get a mini black eyeliner, bronze eyeshadow stick, lip liner and lipstick. I created the makeup look above using all four products and I have to admit they look pretty damn good on! Because these are mini, they’re easy to pop in your bag and the pencil shape of each item makes them easy to apply directly and go. The only effort I had to make was to smudge out the eyeshadow, but that was super quick and easy to do, so I would definitely describe the whole set as perfect for anyone who likes minimum effort products.

Mini Lip Bullet in Riddle – £5

Hands up, who has never finished a lipstick? I have to admit, I don’t think I ever have so I’m becoming more and more of a fan of minis that I am far more likely to get to the end of before chucking out. Riddle is a pretty nude brown, which is perfect for autumn and winter (when I like to experiment with bold dark lips and warm coffee shades). At just £5 this is a total steal and I love how creamy the formula is. I’m also a big fan of the gold packaging, it’s really pretty.

For £20 I feel like I’ve got more than my money’s worth with these products, and I think I might treat myself to a highlighter from the collection next because, damn are they gorgeous!
