Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve

I can’t believe we’re already so close to the end of the year, I feel like so much has happened in the past 12 months, and one of the biggest changes has been right here, on my blog. I’ve gone from churning out mediocre content, to really pouring my heart, soul and creativity into the posts I create for this little slice of the internet.

I’ve rebranded, and I’ve worked really hard to improve my photography. One of my favourite changes has been in my beauty content, I feel like it’s finally on another level, and investing in a tripod and remote has meant I can take proper makeup photos to show products in action.

I’ve worked with some amazing brands recently, and one of my favourite is Bobbi Brown, so when they sent me this gorgeous box of festive products I just had to use them to create a festive makeup look that is perfect for Christmas Eve.

The Face Base*

First off, this stuff smells incredible and it makes my skin feel amazing when I use it! During the winter months I really step up my skincare game, and using a cream like this ensures my skin stays hydrated and plump regardless of how harsh the weather outside is.

Long-Wear Liquid Liner*

I’m a bit of a liquid liner addict, and whenever I slick some on I immediately feel much more put together. This shade is called Night Sky Sparkle and has flecks of glitter in it that make it perfect for a subtle bit of sparkle for Christmas Eve. This was also super easy to apply, even for someone like me who tends to struggle with liquid liner!

Luxe Lip Colour*

I really love Bobbi Brown’s lipsticks, and the Luxe Lip Colours feel really special. As you can see in the images above, there’s have a sheen to them, and they feel really comfortable on the lip. I would recommend using a lip brush with the darker shades (this is Red Velvet) for a precise finish.

Instant Full Cover Concealer*

I love a full coverage concealer, it means I can just dot it on and go without having to worry about putting on a full base! This one gives really good coverage which is a lot easier to blend than I was expecting. The shade Sand is also a spot on match for my skin tone.

Christmas Eve makeup look

So that’s it – a few pretty products that are worth splurging on for a luxe Christmas Eve makeup look! The concealer is already in my makeup bag and I’ve been using it every time I do my makeup. I’m also going to be using the liner for nights out or when I fancy a bit of sparkle instead of my usual jet black liner.

I hope you all have a lovely Christmas!
