A/W with Primark
For years, YEARS, I’ve been a fan of Primark’s clothing and accessories, and when it comes to autumn/winter I really feel like they step up their game. Last year I added textured skirts and the most cosy teddy coat that I still wear to my wardrobe but this year…this year I could have bought the whole damn store because they just have SO many amazing pieces in right now!
From cosy, chunky, colourful jumpers to animal print skirts, it’s hard to escape one of their shops without spending a good chunk of money, so today I thought I would share a few pieces I’ve picked up from them recently and why I’ve fallen head over heels for them.
Wide leg cord trousers
Man, I never thought I would find myself lusting after a pair of cord trousers but, well, here we are. I have to admit, I actually first saw these when Maria rocked up to a mini photo session wearing them. They looked so gorgeous, and SO luxury, on her I just had to hurry to Primark to treat myself to a pair.
Can you believe they were just £17, such a steal and I’m half tempted to pick up the marmalade colour option they have available too. These look great with a cream top and kitten heels, but I think they could also look great with higher heels and an off-the-shoulder black top for an evening look.
High neck ribbed top
There’s no denying that when it comes to wardrobe staples Primark are great. And I will often stock up on cute t-shirts and long sleeved tops that will layer nicely when I pay a visit to one of their shops. This cream top was just £6, so a total steal, and as you can see it pairs perfectly with the trousers. I also think this will go great with a lot of the a-line skirts in my wardrobe right now, and as it’s quite thin I can layer jumpers over the top of it without it feeling too bulky.
Striped chunky jumper
Yes, when I saw thing hanging up I did think it was a bit of an ugly jumper, but you know what? Once I slipped it on with some black jeans and ankle boots, it really came to life and I now absolutely LOVE it!
This jumper is super soft, and so chunky it’s perfect for when the weather takes a colder turn. I also love that it’s a roll neck as it makes it perfect for protecting against cold winds! This was just £15 and I’ll definitely be visiting Primark again soon to check out more of their jumpers because I am impressed.
