April’s beauty favourites

Writing this post means I have just two weeks until my final exams at uni, which quite frankly, is a terrifying concept to me right now. I knew the final month was going to be stressful, but I don’t think I realised just how difficult it would be…Luckily, spending hours at my desk hasn’t kept me from trying a whole load of new products, some of which I have to share with you today as my favourites of the month.

First up is a hydrating mist toner from Trilogy*. I have to say, it was most definitely love at first spritz with this product for me. The mist includes oils from rose, geranium and lavendar and together they really have helped to moisturise my skin and reduce some of the redness I have going on right now. The rose scent is also gorgeous!
Secondly we have the Colour Club nail polish in Barely There, which was included as part of this month’s Glossybox. I’m a big fan of nude nail polishes and this one is the perfect shade for me! It’s a very natural nude and the formula is so perfect all I need is one coat for glossy, nude nails.
Next up is the Superdry mascara, which I have to admit has suprised me with how good it actually is. I’m fairly certain it’s the curvey plastic wand that’s working wonders for me, it really separates my lashes and adds some serious length and volume that doesn’t look too crazy or over the top (does that make sense?!). Never before have my lashes been so defined.
This month I had two hair care favourites in the form of Umberto Giannini frizzi miracle worker* and Neal + Wolf heat protectant spray*. The frizzi miracle worker is the perfect serum for any of you who, like me, suffer from untameable hair. I work two pumps into the ends of my hair and it really helps to keep my hair looking glossy and shiny. The heat protectant spray not only does a great job of protecting my hair, but it has an amazing beachy scent to it that really reminds me of summer holidays!
Finally, I have the Make Up For Ever pro bronze fusion* in my favourites this month. I’ve always been a bit wary of bronzing (due to fear of ending up a streaky orange mess) but sweeping this across my cheekbones has been amazing for adding that summer glow to my skin without it looking powdery or too obvious.
