Antioxidants with SkinCeuticals

I’ve always thought I had a pretty good skincare routine, and although I do make sure it’s cleansed, toned and moisturised twice a day I still seem to suffer from breakouts and clogged pores. Therefore, when I was gifted a set of SkinCeuticals products to try, which are packed full of active ingridients, I was really excited to try them and see if they really helped my skin.

Now, before I start talking about the results which you can see above (after just two weeks!) lets have a quick chat about the active ingridients that really work the magic. I’ve been using the C E Ferulic in the morning before moisturising, which is basically a high potency treatment for protecting the skin against photo damage. The active ingridients are 15% L-ascorbic acid, 1% Alpha Tocopherol (Vitamin E) and 0.5% Ferulic Acid which all work towards preventing damage to the skin and brightening the skin.
In the evening I use the Resveratrol B E before moisturising, which also helps to improve radiance and prevent skin damage. The active ingridients are 1% Resveratrol, 0.5% Baicalin and 1% Alpha Tocopherol (Vitamin E). I’ve also been using the AOX Lip Complex morning and night all around my lip area, which uses Vitamin E and Silymarin to gently plump and moisturise the lips. The active ingridients are Silymarin, Vitamin E and Hylaronic Acid which all help to soften the lips.
Resveratrol B E* – £120
C E Freulic* – £129
AOX Lip Complex* – £35
Since using these three I’ve really noticed dramatic improvements in my skin. As you can see the redness I had, from acne scarring, is close to gone and my skin looks a lot more radiant. I thought acne scarring would be something I would always live with, so to have these products clear it so quickly really impressed me! I feel like I look much less tired and my skin looks really healthy and fresh. While the products are pricey, if you can afford them they’re really worth the investment.
I’m in two minds about whether or not I would repurchase them. If I had the disposable income to do so, I really would, but right now I’m on a much tighter budget and unfortunately I think I might just go back to using cheaper options. Well, at least until I start earning proper money that is!
