Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep

Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep*-£26.50 (here)
Since I started a NCTJ course in September, I’ve been way busier than I could ever imagine. I’ve therefore had way less sleep recently than I usually have and am always on the look out for products that will give my skin that little extra lift it needs.

Idealia Skin Sleep is Vichy’s first night cream, and for their first it is really good! It has a sort of gel texture to it that did go tacky on my skin the first couple of times I used it but after my skin got used to it, it left it feeling really nourished and hydrated.

Our skin regenerates itself the most as we sleep, so it’s no surprise that a terrible night’s sleep can leave your skin looking tired and grey. The Idealia Skin Sleep aims to recreate the look of a good night’s sleep so whether or not you sleep well you’ll still wake up looking refreshed!
The cream is enriched with Glycyrrhizic Acid, Hyaluronic Acid, Caffeine and LHA, all of which help to reduce signs of fatigue and leave skin looking radiant and fresh each morning. The cream has been tested on people who typically don’t sleep well (young mums, nurses, flight attendants) and they claim to have found that it really did reduce fatigue.
I always take findings from scientific tests with a pinch of salt, and as I’ve only tested the cream for a couple of weeks I couldn’t say right now if it really does reduce dullness in the long term. What I have found is that when I use the cream it does leave my skin feeling super hydrated the next day and definitely does add some radiance.
If you’re a fan of Vichy skincare, defiintely check this new cream out and see if it works for you!
