Vichy Dermablend is a range I’ve never actually tried, although I frequently see it in the aisles of Boots.
The range was developed to camouflage complexion flaws while also providing an SPF to protect the skin from further damage.
Recently my skin has been terrible, and while I am leaning towards higher coverage, I also want to make sure the products I’m using won’t do any further damage by clogging my skin up.
Luckily Dermablend promises to fulfil both my criteria and after using it a couple of times I have to say I am really impressed with it!
I have the shade Nude (25) for the foundation, and while it is a tad too dark for my skintone, once it’s blended you can hardly notice it and it’ll be a perfect match in Spring/Summer once I catch a tan.
In the photo above all I have on my skin is the corrective foundation* (£18 here) and setting powder* (£15 here) and as you can see it leaves my skin tone looking really even and gives quite a natural finish although it is high coverage.
When I first used the setting powder I wasn’t sure how it would hold up during the day as it didn’t leave my skin feeling as matte as my usual powder does.
However, when it came to the end of the day, my makeup was still intact and there wasn’t a hint of oil in sight.
I’ve put the prices of each of these products above, and for something that gives such good coverage while also protecting your skin I think they’re a total bargain!
I’m a big fan of Vichy skincare products, and so does my skin, so I’ll definitely be using this duo a lot in the new few months.
