Laura Mercier Candleglow foundation

Laura Mericer Candleglow Soft Luminous foundation in Vanille

If there’s one thing that’s worth investing in, it’s definitely a good base for your makeup.

I wear foundation most days, and after reading about the Laura Mercier Candleglow Soft Luminous foundation I knew I had to add it to my collection.

I popped down to my Laura Mercier counter a couple of weeks ago to test the foundation and instantly fell in love with the amazingly natural glow it gave to my skin.

Candleglow foundation packaging

Being the super keen beauty fan I am, I actually bought this on the day that it launched and I’m so glad I did!

Firstly, lets talk about the packaging. The foundation comes in a beautiful matte grey box which feels really luxurious.

The bottle itself is frosted glass with a shiny bronze lid and it’s one of the most beautiful things I’ve seen.

Obviously, packaging does not a good foundation make, but when you’re spending serious dollar on something you do want it to feel expensive.

I was matched at the counter as the shade Vanille and for me it’s a perfect match.

My mum is darker than me, and often struggles to find a good match for her, but Laura Mercier still managed to find her one which is really impressive.

I’ve been wearing this the past few days and I don’t know how I survived without it, it’s such a brilliant shade and finish for me.

Laura Mercier before and after of foundation

As you can see it gives a really lovely glow to my skin, gives some fairly good coverage and really helps to even out my skin tone.

While it is a lot more expensive than my usual foundation, spending the extra money has really made a difference.

I really enjoy using this foundation and I’m going to be hard pressed to find anything that matches up to it!

The Laura Mercier Candleglow Soft Luminous foundation is £35 and comes in 24 shades.
