The weather’s been so horrible recently I really enjoyed popping into Boohoo HQ for their Prom and Occasion Wear event.
There’s something so refreshing about bright, pretty pastels after winter and I now can’t wait to fill my wardrobe with lots of stereotypically Spring pieces.
As you can see above, Boohoo were actually taking polaroids at the event and it was lovely to look through all the photos and spot a few familiar blogger faces.
We had the chance to make our own floral arrangements at the event and while I didn’t have time to do one myself, it was nice seeing what other people had created.
There was also a cocktail making bar, and I’m slightly gutted I didn’t get to the event earlier so I could give it a go.
I love when brands add activities like this to press events, they make them so much more fun to get involved with and really help to break the ice.
As you can see the food and drink was just as pastel as the clothing and I really enjoyed tucking into these macarons.
The macarons included a few flavours, including Pink Champagne and Blackberry.
After having two (or three) Blackberry was definitely my favourite and I enjoyed washing them down with this delicious Apple and Rhubarb drink.
Enough about the food, lets get back to the clothing!
I love this floral two-piece and I think it would be perfect for a Spring/Summer event once the weather has warmed up a bit.
Another favourite were some black honeycomb cut-out heels which I’m determined to get my hands on ASAP.
Purple is my favourite colour, so I was naturally attracted to this rail.
I really liked the dusty lilac pleated skirt and lilac tea dress and I think they’ll also be great once the weather’s warmed up a bit.
I had a really lovely time at the event, it was great to see their Prom collection and catch up with some bloggers friends over a few drinks and macarons.
