I’m always amazed by just how many luxurious hotels there are in London that I haven’t discovered yet. I recently discovered The Mayfair hotel and was lucky enough to pay a visit last week with SpaSeekers to enjoy an evening of champagne and canapés while testing out their beautiful spa facilities.
The Mayfair is truly gorgeous, we were hosted in the kitchen terrace which (as you can see above) was full of cosy spots to enjoy a quiet drink in. As well as enjoying the food and drink, we were each given a complimentary treatment* in the spa, which was such a relaxing experience!
If there’s food and drink at an event I’m in! Luckily, while we were at The Mayfair we were treated to some delicious canapés and our glasses of champagne were never allowed to be empty. It was really nice to begin our time at The Mayfair with a bit of food, drink and networking – it definitely helped me to relax into the event.
After spending a bit of time on the terrace it was time to make our way down to the spa and test out the facilities.
We were given the choice of a few treatments (including a back massage, body scrub or lower leg & foot massage) and I went for the facial. This treatment included cleansing, exfoliation, a massage, mask and serum. All of the ESPA products used smelt delicious and my skin felt amazing afterwards. Facials are such a lovely, relaxing treatment and it was much appreciated after a fairly hectic week.
Of course, while I was at the hotel I couldn’t resist taking full advantage of the spa facilities! There is a sauna and steam room available at the hotel, and I decided to pay a quick visit to the steam room to sweat out some toxins. I was the only one in there so I really felt like I could relax and enjoy some time to myself.
After that, I had a quick shower before getting re-dressed and heading home. I had such a lovely time with SpaSeekers at The Mayfair, if you’re looking for a nice, luxury hotel to visit for a spot of pampering definitely check this one out.
