Power, strength and beauty – the H.AZEEM Enchanted Empress collection
If you’ve been following my style (on my blog and/or Insta) you’ll probably have noticed that I keep my jewellery to a minimum. Apart from my rogue obsession with Pat Butcher statement earrings, I tend to wear simple, subtle pieces that look elegant and work well with the majority of things in my wardrobe.
So, when I first discovered the H.AZEEM Enchanted Empress collection it was love at first sight. Each of the pieces are absolutely stunning, and they’re subtle enough to work for a whole multitude of occasions. I was lucky enough to be sent the Royal Rose Quartz earrings and they’re so beautiful I’ve found myself wearing them almost everyday. I’m just as likely to wear them with a cute blouse and jeans as I am with a lace midi dress and heels.
A couple of years ago, if you had told me I would be rocking a pair of high waisted straight legged jeans, I would have laughed in your face (not in a mean way but…ya know). I’ve been a high waisted skinny jean gal for as long as I can remember, but this Spring I have to admit I’ve fallen head over heels for a straight leg. I think Instagram, and a handful of my favourite style bloggers, are entirely to blame.
Straight leg jeans, weirdly, feel a lot more casual (maybe it’s that they feel less try-hard?) and ‘fashion’ than skinny jeans right now and *bonus points* they’re just so frigging comfy AND you don’t have to worry about VPL so it really doesn’t matter if you’re rocking your tiniest thong or biggest grandma briefs underneath.
Personally, I’m loving pairing my straight leg jeans with blouses and flats. Both this blouse (£10) and flats (£6) are from my favourite shopping spot – Primark. I honestly think they’re killing it right now, and the price means you can cycle through items without feeling guilty for not wearing them non-stop.
