Arbonne isn’t a new brand to me, in my second year of university I tried a few of their products, and I do have to admit at the time I really enjoyed using them. But once the products were used up, the brand fell off my radar and I started to experiment with other skincare brands before discovering my love for Liz Earle.
Therefore, when I was invited to test out the new Arbonne RE9 Advanced Prepwork skincare range, which is formulated for younger skin, I quickly said yes and looked forward to seeing what I would think of the new collection of products. The range consists of just four products, and I have to say they’re all pretty easy and quick to use, so perfect for those of us who like our daily skincare routine to be as efficient as possible!
The four products are as follows: Cleansing Polish, Gel Eye Masks, Hydrating Dew Cream and Soft Focus Veil. In the morning I use the Cleansing Polish, followed by the Hydrating Dew Cream and Soft Focus Veil. In the evening I use the Cleansing Polish, Gel Eye Masks and Hydrating Dew Cream.
I was concerned this would be too rough to use on my skin daily, but it’s actually a really gentle formula so I’ve been using it day and night! I’ve found this is great for buffing away dead skin, while also cleansing at the same time, which leaves my skin feeling really clean and looking nice and radiant. This is also really easy to remove with a damp muslin cloth and doesn’t leave any grainy residue, like some of my other exfoliators do!
These might just be my favourite part of the whole collection, mainly because I do love a good face mask and there are 60 in this pot, so if you use them 2-3 times a week they should last you a couple of months! These feel really comfortable on the skin (I almost forgot I had them on the first time I tried them) and give the under-eye area a nice little perk after each use. I did notice my under-eye area wasn’t as dark as it was before applying these, so I’ll be using them regularly to keep up the effects.
This is the product I’m probably least excited about out of the entire collection. Don’t get me wrong, it’s lovely, but I don’t think it offers anything as new as the other products do. That said, within the collection it does work really well and I have been enjoying using it. I use it day and night, and after cleansing it sinks in really nicely and leaves my skin feeling soft and plump.
I really, really love this product! Firstly, it has an SPF of 30, which is great for those of us who are typically lax with our coverage and secondly it feels really nice on the skin while also evening out skin tone. I sometimes don’t get on with SPF 30 face products (they tend to feel a bit gross on my skin) but this one is truly lovely and I’ll be using it every morning from now on. You can apply it alone, or on top of the Hydrating Dew Cream.
