When it comes to bodycare products, the brand I love treating myself to is always Soap and Glory. From hand sanitiser to shower gel, my beauty collection is littered with their products. So IMAGINE my excitement when I was invited down to the launch of their latest collection – Call of Fruity.
Over the past week I’ve been giving the new products a test run so today I thought I would share my thoughts. Firstly, this collection smells divine – I would liken it to a pineapple-heavy Pina Colada – and I really can’t get enough of the scent! Included in the collection are: a body wash, body lotion, body butter, body oil and hand cream. If I could make any changes to it, I would get rid of the body lotion and swap it in for a body mist.
When it comes to body lotions, I find Soap and Glory’s are some of the best on the market. Especially because the bottles are so big and the lotion is so well fragranced that it really does last all day. I prefer using a lotion to a body butter as they tend to sink in easier, so I’ll be using this 2-3 times a week to keep my skin moisturised.
While I don’t tend to use body butters a lot, I do like having a Soap and Glory one in my collection for the colder evenings when my skin needs a little bit of TLC.
While I do like to use a body lotion/cream to keep my body moisturised, I do have to admit I have a soft spot for body oils because of how luxurious they feel to use and how quickly they tend to sink into my skin. This one is easy to spritz on before working into the skin. My only critique is that once you’ve used it (especially on your legs) it can leave the floor a bit oily so be careful!
I always have a Soap and Glory shower gel in my shower (my fave is the Rich and Foamous one!) and this Call of Fruity one is a welcome addition! The bottle is so big I’m sure it will last me for a good few months and I might actually use it as a bubble bath too!
Again, like their shower gels, I always tend to have a Soap and Glory hand cream in my bag because I just love the scents they do! This tropical scent is divine and it sinks in really quickly, which is ideal.
