Now, I don’t know about you, but recently I’ve had a bit of a craving for different cuts and styles of jeans. I’ve seen so many of my favourite fashion bloggers rocking wider legged, straight jeans so it’s no surprise that I’ve found myself recently adding a couple of pairs of straight and flared jeans to my wardrobe.
There’s something that feels so ‘fashun’ about rocking a pair of distressed straight jeans with a classic white t-shirt, ankle boots and a blazer and that’s exactly the type of outfit I’m bringing to you today.
I actually got the blazer, jeans and t-shirt I’m wearing in this post from NA-KD’s gorgeous selection of Mango items
If you read my post about the impact wearing yellow can have on your mood, you’ll know that I’ve been taking steps to add more of the sunshine hue to my home decor and wardrobe. This Mango yellow Cintu blazer is the stuff that dreams are made of. It fits like a dream, and the pattern is subtle enough of it to work well over the top of a plain t-shirt or something with a simple pattern to it.
You’re definitely going to be seeing a LOT of me wearing this blazer in the coming months, so keep an eye on my Insta feed to see how I style it.
I have a confession to make…until recently I didn’t *actually* own a plain white t-shirt. They’re such a wardrobe staple I have no idea why there isn’t one in mine, but luckily I was able to add this Mango bows sleeve t-shirt to my collection to rectify that!
Although you can’t see it in this set of photos, this t-shirt has some really cute self tie detailing on the sleeve which shows just a hint of shoulder. It fits beautifully and as it’s such a simple tee I’m sure it will go with lot sof pieces already in my wardrobe.
So when I first slipped into these Mango vintage ripped jeans, I wasn’t sure if I loved or hated them…They’re wider than straight jeans I’ve tried on before, but they fit my thighs, hips and bum perfectly so as I wore them throughout the day they grew on me.
These were also found in the Mango section of the NA-KD website, and paired with the t-shirt and blazer I think they actually look really cool. If I was going to switch up this outfit, I would swap the black boots for white trainers or even go for a ruffled floral blouse.
