February makeup edit

February makeup picks

I meant to do these monthly but…life got in the way so the last time I did one was in December! Anyway, I’m back with my monthly makeup updates, and this month I have quite a few things that I’ve been wearing regularly. I’m actually off to Nashville at the end of this week, so maybe for March I should do a US makeup edit? Let me know if that’s something you would like…

Saffron Barker Good Vibes palette

Saffron Barker x BeautyBay Good Vibes palette

I don’t actually watch Saffron Barker on YouTube, but when I saw the previews of her collection with BeautyBay the Good Vibes palette was calling my name. I love the sunset tones of the eyeshadow shades, and they blend really beautifully together. The two highlighter shades are also gorgeous and look beautiful on. So if, like me, you love warmer tones then you’re going to want to pick this beauty up.

Good Vibes palette – £20

Soap and Glory Peach Party blusher

Soap and Glory Peach Party blusher

I actually picked this up during the summer at a Boots event, and it’s slowly but surely become a product that I use every time I do my makeup. Swirling my blusher brush in the pan gives a perfect combination of glowy peachy tones and when I wear it people always comment on how beautiful it is. I also love that you can be selective with the shades that you use, and the bronze would make a great eyeshadow.

Peach Party blusher – £11 *GIFTED

Peaches and Cream Fixing Spray

I Heart Revolution Peaches & Cream Fixing Spray

You can probably see in the image above – I’ve nearly finished my bottle of this and I will definitely be re-stocking! Not only does this smell delicious, but spraying it on my face before and after applying my makeup really helps it to stay put. I Heart Revolution do a fair few scents for their fixing sprays, so I’m sure you’ll find one you love!

Peaches & Cream Fixing Spray – £6

I Heart Revolution Chocolate lip glosses

I Heart Revolution Chocolate lip glosses

These Chocolate lip glosses had to be in my February makeup edit because I always have at least one of them in my bag at all times! Not only do they smell delicious but the colours are just perfect. Chocolate Brownie is the perfect ‘my lips but better’ shade for me and it’s my go-to when I’m unsure of what lip product to go for.

Chocolate lip glosses – £3 each

Unicorn Lashes Lemon Meringue

Unicorn Cosmetics lashes in Lemon Meringue

How gorgeous are these lashes? I’ve had the pleasure of testing out Unicorn Cosmetics lashes recently, and the Lemon Meringue pair are one of my favourites. They look really great on and I get a fair few wears out of each pair so they’re worth the price tag.

Lemon Meringue lashes – £10 GIFTED

Revlon Colorstay foundation

Revlon Colorstay foundation

I’ve not tried a new foundation for a while, so I wasn’t sure how I would get on with this one. But the shade 150 – Buff is a perfect match for my skin tone and I love how natural the finish of the foundation is (it looks like I’m not wearing makeup)! I like to blend this in with a beauty blender for a natural finish.

Colorstay foundation – £12.99 GIFTED
