L'Occitane Rose fragrances

L’Occitane Rose fragrances

I really love the skincare and body care products that L’Occitane create – they feel really luxurious and, just generally, I love using French beauty products. While I am very familiar with L’Occitane’s skincare, I actually hadn’t sampled any of their fragrances until now.

Their Rose scent is one of their most popular, and within the collection you can find perfumes, shower gels, soap, hand creams and body creams. More recently they’ve added three fragranced waters to the collection – Burst of Relaxation, Burst of Cheerfulness and Burst of Vitality. I’ve got Burst of Relaxation, as well as the original Rose Eau de Toilette, so today I thought I would share my thoughts on both!

Rose Eau de Toilette

Rose Eau de Toilette

This is a classic Rose fragrance, and I just love the bottle it comes in because it’s so pretty and delicate!

Here’s what L’Occitane have to say about it: “This feminine fragrance is an elegant and modern interpretation of the iconic Rose, with its floral and sweet notes”

I have to say, I do agree! It’s a light, yet luxurious scent that I find really addictive and it will definitely be one I reach for during the day when I want a comforting, feminine scent.

Burst of Relaxation Rose fragranced water

This is one of the newer Rose fragrances from L’Occitane and I love that they’ve offered a twist on their classic Rose scent. The fragrances waters are a lighter scent, so one that would be good for popping on in the morning before topping up later on (or layering with the original Rose scent for a more intense hit!)

Here’s what L’Occitane have to say about it: “Take a relaxing break with this fragranced water. Its floral and aquatic notes will deepen that sense of serenity.”

I love the light, aquatic feel of this fragrance, and personally I’ll be wearing it on sunny weekends.
