I have to admit, I might not be a Zoella super fan but when I saw her Brunch themed collaboration with Colourpop I just knew I had to get my hands on it! Not only do I absolutely love the Brunch theme (the packaging is really cute!) but the products themselves are really affordable and high quality.
In the collection there are three lip kits, and eyeshadow palette, a couple of liners, a couple of blushers and two eyeshadow paints. I treated myself to two of the lip kits, the eyeshadow palette and the set of eyeshadow paints and I’m really glad I did because they’re great!
This was the thing that really drew me into the collection, especially because it includes easy to wear neutral shades with a strong pop of blue. I love the way these colours work together (and are easy to use) and the blue is perfect for days when you want to go for something a bit more daring!
The palette is $18 and for 12 shades it’s a steal!
I’ve never bought an eyeshadow paint before, but they’re something I want to add more of to my makeup collection. The set I got includes OG and Bellini – OG is a champagne with silver glitter running through it, Bellini is a metallic rose gold. You could wear these on their own, or layer them over an eyeshadow look to make it more vibrant. I’ve used OG in my inner corner and I absolutely love the effect it has – so pretty!
The kit is $14, so they’re $7 each!
As I mentioned above, I bought two lip kits – My Day Ones and Give Us The Goss. I’m wearing My Day Ones here and it’s such a perfect nude for me. I love that these kits come with the liner and matte lipstick – you know you’re going to get a perfect match and a finish that will stay put!
I’ve only tested Give Us The Goss on my hand, but it’s a true red that I’m sure will suit a lot of people.
Each lip kit is $11.50, or you can buy the matte lipstick for $6.50 and the liner for $5.
