Styling jumper dresses

I have a bit of a love-hate relationship with jumper dresses. On the one hand they look incredibly chic, but on the other they can be the most frustrating thing to wear! You can’t exactly whip them off when you get too hot crammed into a tube during your commute…

Therefore, I save these for weekends when I’m a bit less rushed. They’re great for a Saturday brunch (hello lots of roomy space for my post-Eggs Benedict bloat) or a stroll through the city. They look great with a pair of knee high boots. Which is exactly how I’ve styled this little number.

The dress itself is from Pretty Little Thing, and I just love how it fits my body. The roll neck is really flattering and the cream colour is just gorgeous. The midi length means it’s work appropriate and looks great with a pair of kick ass boots. The boots I’m wearing here are from XY London and are my fave pair in my wardrobe right now. I mean, come on, look at them! They go great with this dress, and the faux croc finish is a perfect contrast to the soft cream of the jumper dress.

Finally, I had to wear a pair of sunnies with this look to really finish it off. ASOS are my go to for sunglasses, they have so many different designs and I always find a pair I love. This pair are a super flattering cat eye design and I love the tortoiseshell pattern on them.

The only thing I would add to this is a long faux fur coat to really finish off the look (and give those rich aunty vibes)!
