Six makeup products for rose gold glow

six rose gold makeup products

Rose gold glow makeup

I’ve got a bit of an obsession with rose gold right now…what first started as a jewellery preference has found it’s way into my makeup bag and I find myself searching for (and lusting after) products that will give me that rose gold glow. These six products are used pretty regularly when I’m doing my makeup, and I just love how gorgeous they are on (and the glow they give my skin when I use them).

Revlon Rose Glow primer serum

Revlon Rose Glow hydrating primer

How pretty is this? Now, don’t worry, using this before you apply your makeup won’t leave you with a sparkly pink face. In fact, it’s a very subtle glow that primes skin beautifully for foundation and feels super hydrating on. My only complaint is the pipette – it takes a few goes to get enough product out to prime your whole face, but I love the effect of it so much it is worth the hassle!

Revlon Photoready Rose Glow Hydrating and Illuminating primer – £12.99 for 27.2g

Dior Forever skin glow foundation

Dior Forever Skin Glow Foundation

I’ve had this in my collection for a few months now and I honestly don’t know how I could live without it! The finish of the Dior Forever foundation gives me the most illuminated, glowy skin and the shade 2N is the perfect match for me when I’ve fake tanned. You only need two pumps to cover your whole face and it’s such a natural finish you can’t really tell I’m wearing foundation when I use it. I’ll definitely be buying myself a new one soon, probably in shade 1N for when I’m not as tanned.

Rose gold glow eyeshadow palette and highlighter

The eyeshadow palette and highlighter

When it comes to rose gold glow, I think the two key products for achieving it are eyeshadow and highlighter. These two are my absolute favourites right now, and when I use them they make me so happy!

The Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk palette is gorgeous, it contains four eyeshadows – 2 rich, matte shades and 2 satin shimmers. I love using all four shades to create the perfect rose gold eyeshadow look that really enhances my blue eyes. The shades blend beautifully together and last really well.

This KIKO highlighter was limited edition, but I just love the combination of rose gold and champagne in the pan and when I swipe it across my cheekbones it give the perfect amount of highlight without making me look too crazy.

Charlotte Tilbury Luxury Palette in Pillow Talk – £40 for 4 shades

KIKO Sicilian Notes Highlighter Duo in Gold Pantelleria – £7.50

Mascara and lipstick

The mascara and lipstick

While not specifically a product that give me all of the rose gold glow, this By Terry Mascara does give me defined, lengthy lashes that really frame my eyes and enhance the eyeshadows in my Charlotte Tilbury palette. This mascara is also worth mentioning because it contains growth booster and is really gentle on your lashes, so when it’s time to remove it you don’t feel like your pulling out your eyelashes.

I had to mention the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk lipstick in this post because it’s just the most perfect neutral pink that really compliments the rest of my rose gold glow products. It’s a matte, but doesn’t feel too drying on my lips and the velvet finish is really gorgeous. I pair this with my Pillow Talk lip liner for a really defined lip shape.

By Terry Mascara Terrybly – £35 for 8ml
