Antipodes is a fairly new brand to me. I’ve heard people rave about their products previously, but until now I hadn’t tried any of them for myself. When they offered to send me some skin treats to help me maintain my skin’s glow during lockdown, I just had to say yes and after using these two Antipodes skincare products for a couple of weeks I thought I would share my thoughts on each of them.

I was sent their Baptise Ultra-hydrating Water Gel and Kiwi Seed Gold Luminous Eye Cream, both of which I have been using once a day as part of my evening skincare routine.
When it comes to skincare products, eye cream is the one that I use the least in my routine. It’s mainly because I like to keep my skincare routine as quick and simple as I possibly can. It’s also partly because I rarely fine eye creams make a difference as a component of my regular routine.
That said, the Antipodes Kiwi Seed Gold Luminous eye cream has been perking up my eyes quite a lot right now (especially after restless nights when my dog tries to push me out of my bed!) You only need the tiniest amount, so I know this 30ml pot will last me a very long time. To apply it, you just dot it around your orbital bone and then gently tap it into the skin.
It’s pricey at £53 per pot, but as it will last so long I definitely think it’s worth treating yourself to.
I’m a sucker for gel formulas when it comes to my moisturiser. Personally, I find that they sink in really quickly and feel far more hydrating and light than a standard face cream. The Baptise H20 ultra-hydrating water gel has a lovely rose scent to it that I really enjoy.
I apply this in the evenings just before bed, and using it means I always wake up with super soft and hydrated skin. I treat this a bit like an overnight hydrating masque, so I apply it once I have applied my serums and eye cream and I like to gently pat it into the skin to ensure maximum absorption.
