When it comes to jeans, I’ve previously just stuck to classic blue denim and black pairs. However, as the weather is warmer (and I’m wearing more pastels and lighter neutrals) I’ve found myself wearing cream jeans more and more. They might not be the most practical thing to wear during dinner or for a picnic, but they look incredibly chic and are a wardrobe essential for summer! if you’re not sure how to style yours, here’s my tips!

Unlike black or classic blue denim, cream jeans go perfectly with pastel blouses and jumpers. The light, neutral tone means that they make a great base for a variety of prints and light colours. Personally, I’ve been really enjoying this pastel green floral blouse with my cream jeans. It looks great tucked in and the cream makes the green pop even more.
If you want to make the look more interesting, go for a subtle print on your blouse. I find that florals work best as they really compliment the subtlety of the jeans.
If you’re opting for a pastel jumper, I would go for a lighter knit so that it doesn’t overwhelm the rest of the outfit. Tuck the front into the jeans to emphasise your waist more. I would go for an oversized baby pink or lilac cropped jumper to wear with this pair of jeans.
If you want to play it safe (hey, sometimes you just need to be comfy) then stick to the basics when styling your cream jeans. The good thing about cream is that it’s a neutral that pretty much goes with any and every colour. Therefore, you can pair it with lots of things already in your wardrobe.
Personally, I like to wear my cream jeans with a black Zara bodysuit or white vest top for a super chic and easy-to-wear outfit. To dress this up, pair your outfit with some strappy heels or sandals, a big pair of sunglasses and a blazer.
