Three hats to style for autumn

Three hats for autumn

Over the past years, I’ve not really been a huge fan of hats. They’re not the type of accessory I reach for regularly, but this season I’ve made more of an effort to make them a part of my wardrobe. I bought myself three ‘on trend‘ types for autumn, and I thought today I would share with you why I love them so much!

Primark beige beret

The beret

Berets have been on trend for a while now. They always come back into style, and with the 90s trend revival it’s no surprise they are all over the high street! They definitely give me Clueless vibes, and when they’re styled well I think they can look effortlessly chic.

Personally, I like to go for a beige beret and style mine with cosy jumpers and my favourite pairs of jeans or a floral print mini dress and ankle boots. I’m tempted to get myself a black beret that I can wear with the darker tones in my wardrobe.

Primark black bucket hat

The bucket hat

Never did I think the day would come where I was happily wearing a bucket hat! Personally, I don’t like the more sporty styles with waterproof material, but this textured one feels a lot more chic and is easy to pair with lots of the skirt, jumper and boot combos I have in my wardrobe.

Bucket hats look great with a-line skirts, boots and a cosy layer on top. I think it’s because the girly outfit balances out the hat and keeps it chic.

beanie hat

The beanie

Probably the easiest to throw on with a casual outfit, I love a good beanie. Basically every high street shop has these in right now, and you definitely don’t need to break the bank to add one to your wardrobe! I like buying these in neutrals, so they go with everything in my wardrobe and can just be thrown on to keep me warm during colder months.
